ABOUT THE STORY

“What’s Expected of Us” — A device predicts when you’ll push its button, leading many to question the idea of free will.

“The Truth of Fact, The Truth of Feeling” — A journalist observes how “Remem”, a form of lifelogging that effectively grants its users perfect memory, effects his relationship with his daughter. In parallel, a man is one of the first of his people to learn to read and write and must navigate the conflicts this creates with his culture’s oral tradition.
